1)
While you do not have to be a member of any particular
organization to join GOL Shooting, GOL Shooting is a member of the
National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA). All NSCA rules and regulations
will be enforced at all times at the club.
A) Eye
and Ear protection is required while on the sporting course, 5-stand, or
skeet field, whether actively shooting or by-standing.
B) No
shot sizes larger that 7½, 8 or 9 will be allowed. No dram equivalent of
more than three (3) drams, nor, more than 1⅛ ounce of shot will be
allowed.
C) Absolutely no consumption of alcohol will be allowed before shooting.
D) All
other NSCA Rules and Regulations will be observed.
2) Your personal carts, gators, rhinos, mules, and other modes of
transportation such as those listed are welcome. However, no 4-wheelers or
motorcycles will be allowed on or around the course.
3) Golf carts will be available for rent on a first come first
serve basis. The rate for use will be twenty dollars ($20.00).
4) GOL Shooting will hold a number of NSCA registered and fund
raising events during the year. Notice of such events will be sent to
membership via e-mail and flyers posted at the club house. The number of
such events held each year is at the sole discretion of GOL Shooting
ownership and management.
5) Abuse of equipment or property of GOL Shooting will result in
forfeiture of the membership.
6) Any activity deemed unsafe will not be tolerated, and will
result in forfeiture of the membership.
7) Clay target shooting is among the safest shooting activities,
but carries an inherent risk that is associated with all shooting sports.
By signing the membership application you acknowledge this risk and agree
to hold GOL Shooting harmless in the event any accident occurs.
8) GOL Shooting reserves the right to make any changes it deems
necessary to the Rules and Regulations of the club at any time.
9) All decisions made by management are final.
10) In
the event a membership is canceled, refunds of unused portions of any
membership are not allowed. Pro-rating of memberships purchased during the
calendar year is expressly forbidden.
